Happy visitors...

Having Mam and Dad in Nigeria has been great! They travelled the crazy roads, ate the spicy food, greeted with wild abandon and even laid lino tiles in the library (cos it was all a bit technical for me!). Reckon I'll now be greeting them for neighbours and colleagues for the whole of the 6 months I have left here!
They go home with some funny stories but my favourite is definitely the whole Reverend Father/Reverend Sister experience. It was widely assumed that Mam and Dad were a nun and a priest until they were introduced as otherwise. The kids in a local school were particularly bewildered. Despite knowing many Irish nuns and priests this was their first introduction to a a white person (me) with parents! The people who 'borned' me.
