Strike...

Nigeria is on strike. Dont really know too much about it except that it seems to be an all for one and one for all effort. Teachers, drivers, hospital staff. Civil servants, delivery boys, lecturers. All out. The labour unions are reacting against the recent hike in the price of fuel which is having a serious impact on the cost of living here.
For me it just means Im grounded for the weekend - apparently the main roads in and out of Abuja have been blocked. So a planned meeting with a visiting VSO rep wont happen. There are worse places to be stranded!
